Do it the Wyndham way!
My favorite place to stay in town, as the mall is nearby, a shuttle to the airport, great lobby (the fireplace is sooo nice), great menu and an awesome little hotel bar (Charades). They even have a Starbucks in here now.
Unique Quality: If there is a headliner performing in town, or a major collegiate football team coming in to play Virginia Tech, 9 out of 10 times they stay here. Just a tip for those who are coming here for a concert, this is usually where some "private" after parties go down.

Value for your money.
This hotel is only five minutes from the airport and yet you feel a world away. Rooms are spacious, the staff is friendly and the ambiance gentile. The food is very good and reasonably priced. All in all a really great place to stay. Oh, and it's only minutes to the Valley View Mall or downtown Roanoke.
