Sleep well in the Sleep Inn
We got there in late June 2005 and the hotel was brand spanking new or completely renovated. The rooms even had that new bed smell (similar to new car smell but a little more musky). The staff was spit polished and ready to serve. The place looked like this gleaming white castle on the hill.
The rooms were, well.... roomy....
They had all the expected amenities and the furniture looked like it had just come from the store window. We did our laundry there with washing machines that worked without kicking and punching them (nor did they glutton out on quarters). We did not have time to use the exercise room or the swimming pool (too much touristing in the area) but they were present and accounted for.
The rooms were exceptionally clean and the rugs and paint were new. There was a four-cup coffee maker (and they had teabags for my wife). Microwave, iron, TV, hairdryer. Two beds and a very very quiet air-conditioner. Desk, dresser and corner table with chair.
The price was a reasonable $78 AAA rate.
