Visit the Potomac River. The clearest view of it is in Algonkian Park near an old picnic site. It is fun to wade in and great to sit and enjoy nature! One of my favorite memories of my home town would be going on the old bike paths that lead to the town of Leesburg. My family and I would always visit the Country Store adjacent to a very old but still existent furniture 'gallery' on the side of the path. This is fun in the spring because after a refreshment break at the General Store, you can visit the fresh water creek up the path and wade in its cool waters.
