Except for the occasional hotel stay there is not much that would really bring us to this part of Virginia. The draw is the close proximity to the airport, D.C and the affordable hotel stays. The area is mainly residential with office parks, shopping centers and restaurants.
Most of our stays here have been to the Hampton Inn which is very nice. The rooms are spacious, the staff is friendly and we always have a great night's sleep. We recently stayed at the new Doubletree and have iffy reviews. I'm hoping the kinks will be worked out and the hotel will be as good if not better than others in the area.
