NICE BEACH HOTEL
I stayed a couple years ago and it was a nice place to stay the rooms where in good condition has nice indoor pool and across the street has another hotel and outdoor pool area. Right on beach and boardwalk rooms with balconies nice view of beach and boardwalk. close to all shops on boardwalk. about 20-30 mins to downtown norfolk and naval base.
Unique Quality: beachfront no unique qualities just typical motel hotel

Girls on the balcony at Colonial Inn
This was taken our first day there. This is Noel (my dau.) and Tiffany (my niece) on our balcony at Colonial Inn.

Our hotel room 716 at Colonial Inn
This picture shows Tiffany standing inside our hotel room #716. She is standing near the balcony window. We had two-queen size beds and the room was very nice.

This is the restaurant located inside the Colonial Inn. It is called "Angelo's" and it is an italian restaurant.

Upstair sundeck area of Colonial Inn
These steps lead up to the outside 2nd floor sundeck of the Colonial Inn.
The only way in or out is through the indoor pool area. Outside there are several lounge chairs and tables/chairs set up for patron use.

Colonial Inn Indoor pool area.
This is the indoor pool area of the Colonial Inn. We spent alot of our time here. There are four elevators in the building, two which open up near the pool entrance.

Colonial Inn annex hotel across the street
This picture was taken from the seventh floor of the Oceanfront building showing the annex hotel and outdoor pool across Atlantic Blvd.
It seemed like a nice hotel over there also, but most like to stay oceanfront. There is also a three story parking garage over there for customers of both buildings to park in.

There are two doors in the lobby that leads you to the oceanfront area.

Colonial Inn a Oceanfront Hotel
We were very pleased with the hotel. We had an oceanfront room on the seventh floor.
We loved the view from the private balcony.
The girls loved the hotel also.
I would recommend the hotel.

They also offer a nice sundeck on the second floor. There is a nice restaurant on-site and the hotel is conveniently located to everything.
