More about Marjac Suites

the worst ever

by Koreta about Ambassador Suites

Went there in October 2006. I stayed there because all the other hotels near 21st were overbooked and i hadnt made reservations. I usually stay in Marjac Suites (the same owner), so they told me to go to Ambassador Suites. Uncomperable.
I payed for 3 nights in the beginning and then every morning for another day.
I work nights, sleep days.
1) The first morning housekeeper was banging on the door before 9am like she owns the place and im an intruder.
2) The morning after third night (when i thought i was going to leeve) front desk called at 10:40am and asked if im staying for another day. I said "yes" and that i was going to go downstair to make a payment when i wake up (usually about 2pm). 15 min later housekeeper was banging on the door again and told me i have to go and make a payment right away. (all this happened while i was half asleep) 20min later frond desk called again and i just got up, got dressed and went downstairs to pay for another night. Now it was 11:55am. As i got in the elevator there was the same housekeeper with a smile on her face telling me that there are cops comming upstairs. There were cops by the elevator downstairs ready to come up. As i asked whats going on receptionist with a smirk just took the money and i had to listen to police officer telling me how i have to either leave or pay at 11am.
3) During my 6 day stay my room was cleaned once.

Things to do for African-americans

by xxticee

Hello, we are coming to VA Beach the first part of June, and are staying at the Marjac. First is this hotel cool? Secondly, are there any clubs/bars for the "older" crowd, 25 and up, with either jazz, blues, r&b etc.? thanks!!!

Jamestown Island

Wherever we go in the States I always like to visit an Applebees. You know that you will get a good meal at a good price and excellent service. As for favourite dishes, well thats difficult. I particularly like fajitas, or for lunch soup and a salad, my husband likes their steaks, and our son their burgers. I also like their cocktails :-) (well you have to try these things dont you?) - lol
