I have never been to Virginai BEACH, AND I'm traveling there with my family this spring break. It's from March 24- April 03. Im a college student and i just want to have fu and relax. Where are some good places to eat, shop and just have fun.
Hope you enjoy your stay at the Beach. Are you staying on the ocean front? If so, there are no shortages of places to party and eat. When you get there, check out some of those local coupon mags and booklets. They are every where.

If your kids like haunted houses, like most kids do, and you as parent or elders to younger siblings, don't you just love to hear them SCREAM! Yes you do! So if it's to hot outside for you and the kids are complaining it's to hot, there is an option to take them to what could be a cooler place or a screaming fest. Another idea to keep the kids happy and make you laugh!

As we reached the gardens around the Visitors Centre, our son said 'oh look' and yes you've guessed it, we at last saw some butterflies.
Such lovely colours, you may want to click on the photo to see it better.
Va beach and its vicinty offers a wide range of cuisines to suit every taste ....... Try BODEGAS which offer yummy Spanish menue!
For those who prefer Italian food, you must pay a visit to CARMELA's PASTA CAFE. Great food and a great atmospher!
Feeling adventrous? try Croc's, a
tropical, palm tree- decorated resturant with a Caribbean-themed! It is one of the local hot spots in Virginia Beach.And yes they offer Gator's meat!(its rather good actually) :)
Nico I am not into gator, shark, beef, lamb, chicken meats! Anything green? Umm .. Who said you need meat to find flavor?! Try TERRA NOVA NATURAL FOODS CAFE. It is heaven for those vegetarians!
You will find anything from overstuffed sandwiches, spiffy green salads and homemade soups.to tasty tofu salads and vegetarian lasagnas.If thisrty they serve awesome fresh squeezed juices, slushy smoothies and nutritious soymilk for those who dare!! :)
Finally, a resturant and yet a landmark, LIGHTHOUSE RESTAURANT. Located a short distance from the GTE Amphitheater and Virginia Marine Science Museum and overlooking the ocean.
You can enjoy delicious entrees or all you can eat buffet with fresh catch, crab legs, scallops, steamed shrimp, chicken & beef.Great food and nice view!
Being the romantic kinda guy I am (no really!) I have to list one of my fav romantic resurants in VA Beach! Alexander's ON THE BAY on Fentress Ave.is a must for any couple on a romantic getaway!There is also a beautiful view of the Chesapeake Bay from every table in the resurant! So all of you Romeos and wanna be Romeos go ahead and take your Juliet there, it will be a night she won't forget! :)
Attention nature Lovers!!!!!!You just have to go to Sandbridge when you are in Virginia Beach. Sandbridge is just 30 min. south of the Va Beach oceanfront before you reach the border of North Carolina.
While in Sandbridge, visit the Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge. The last time I was in the area, I was on a bike ride in the refuge and about 8 wild horses went running by!
Again this is located on the Boardwalk as a photo op for families. This particular set of crabs is located on 29th street.
The girls enjoyed posing and sitting on the poly resin crabs.
This was located beside our hotel, the Colonial Inn, and behind them is a large gift shop and parking garage.
