Good basic accommodation on the beach

I found their website easy to use, with all information I needed to ask sensible questions when phoning to make reservation
I had stayed previously, many years prior and was offered a discount as a returning visitor.

Initial impression of the outside was appealing – staff were frequently ensuring cleanliness. No trash in the car park.

Check in was fast and courteous, the cleaners had just sprayed the elevators and hallways - the air freshener needs to be less flowery! Rooms were reasonably appointed with tv, microwave etc.

There is a good sized pool, but not tried. Depth appeared adequate for real swimming.
The restaurant had an appealing menu at reasonable prices. Service for us was good, others had long waits for their order. The wine list is reasonable.

The overall impression of the room was that it provided adequate accommodations and reached its present star rating, however, for an oceanfront resort hotel I felt it was good value.

Best value in Virginia Beach, VA

I had the pleasure of staying at the Oceanfront Inn for a weekend in November/2007. I was in Virginia Beach for my son's sporting event and was impressed with the stay! Oceanfront Inn was easy to check into, pleasant staff who seemed to care about our stay. The hotel was clean and modern, including a large sized pool, restaurant and lounge located on the first floor. The best was yet to come! We had a fifth floor room that had a view of the ocean second to none! From our balcony all we could see was beach and ocean stretching to the horizon in all directions! My family and I enjoyed watching ships steam by on the ocean, surfers enjoying the breaking waves and beach activities in every direction. The view was worth every penny!

Unique Quality: The view of the ocean was spectacular! With your private balcony at the ready, fun and views were only a few feet away. The hotel was located on the busy beach front of Virginia Beach and was within walking distance of local shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Parking was easy and accessable. Fun for the entire family!

Oceanfront Great Value!

This is like finding an insider's location! Our room faced the beach, literally on the beach, (all the rooms did) and the service was great, clean, friendly. Also free wifi which is great! It was a great location and great price.

Unique Quality: We are going back at Christmas they have the entire boardwalk lit up like a fairyland (you can actually drive down the boardwalk to view the stuff) and admission is complimentary from the hotel.
