The Ritz-Carlton, Washington, DC - West End
Certainly one of the finest hotels in the city, the Ritz Carleton exceeded all expectations. Its 300 rooms are all beautiful and new, since they were remodeled in 2008; the only feature lacking was a coffee pot in the room. It is pricey, though with rates typically starting around $700 a night, $50 to have the butler draw your bath, parking at $45 per night, and $15 per use of the fitness center on the second floor. At least newspapers are free, cookies and lemonade are complimentary each evening, and they even have a free overnight shoeshine service.
The hotel is a 10 minute walk from Georgetown University and the Foggy Bottom-GWU Metro Station. The neighborhood has numerous high end hotels and most of the restaurants, such as the Blue Duck, are fancy and expensive. If you like to walk, you can stroll to the White House is 15 minutes, and the Mall is about 20 minutes away.

Putting on the Ritz
I love this hotel. The service here was impeccable, the location is to die for. There is a nightclub (Lulus) across the street and it made my past weekend very fun. And, staying in the Ritz, it makes a weekend seem like an eternity of spoils.
Unique Quality: Thew unique qualities of this place are the absolute best cuisine as well as service that pampers you into the lap of luxury.
