Cranberry Lake Camp Ground: Largest Camping Facility in Park

By far the largest and most diverse campground in Deception Pass State Park, Cranberry Lake has 147 tent sites / nonutility sites and 83 utility sites for those wishing to connect their RV / trailer.

Some of the sites are wide, many of them are in deep forest (take the wind into consideration if camping under one of these huge trees in the winter!).

The state parks has set a maximum limit of 8 people per camp site.

Please note that there is a military base nearby, and from time to time military exercises dictate that low flying jets fly over the state park. You may be awakened with the noise.

Some of the tent sites feature vehicle parking that does not appear to be very level. This may be an issue if you are camping in your vehicle rather than putting up a tent in the seaprate flat area designed for a tent.

There are flush toilets and showers, but the showers are pay showers.

The campground is very close to Cranberry Lake freshwater fishing and salt water beaches.
