what a great experience
one of the best experiences of our travels. our entire experience was excellent from the staff, to the room, to the free cookies, fruit, yogurt and scones. it is such a cute hotel and surpassed our expectations. we walked on the ferry at anacortes, it is about a 40 minute trip. the hotel is about two blocks from the ferry terminal. the lady at the front desk greated us with fresh cookies and lemonade while we check in. there are free movies and board games to take up to your room if you want them. our room was on the second floor. the room was great and decorated with antique furnature. we had a private deck with a small table and chairs, surrounded by flower boxes. we rented a room without and attached bathroom and didnt know how this would work. it was never an issue, and the bathrooms were beautiful. the hotel is centrally located. i will deffinately reccomend this hotel to everyone i know.
Unique Quality: the only drawback to this hotel is its proximaty to the street. it got a little loud on saturday night. they provide earplugs, and i put them to good use. loved the little balcony off the room and the home made scones. they made a great breakfast eating experience.
