Hotel Pension Anna

Most Bavarian & most friendly Inn in Leavenworth

Stayed for 1 night on June 18, 2008. Reserved two rooms, the Chapel Nook and the Penzgau Room. The inn has 18 rooms all uniquely decorated in authentic Bavarian style. No two rooms are the same. Check out their website which includes pictures of each room. Although arriving 3 hours before the official 3 pm check-in time, we received a warm greeting by the friendly staff and the owner and were escorted to our rooms. We were also shown some of the other rooms.

The room was a good size with very comfortable beds. The furnishings made you feel like you were indeed in the Bavarian Alps. We spent part of the afternoon talking with friends on the lovely garden balcony.

The Bavarian Breakfast (included with the stay) was served buffet style in the dining room at 8 AM and consisted of fresh baked coffee cake, fruit, yogurt, cereal, assorted cold meat and cheeses, hard boiled or soft boiled eggs, coffee and/or tea. All was delicious and more than enough to start our day.

I would highly recommend the Hotel Pension Anna to others. It's comfortable, friendly, unique and priced right! Why stay at a typical "hotel" when you can stay here?

Unique Quality: The rooms all have Bavarian décor, and most have authentic antiques shipped from Bavaria. No two rooms are alike! We received personal attention from the owner; advice on local restaurants and informing us about the history and development of the town. The breakfast was a wonderful Bavarian experience, not your typical continental breakfast received at most similarly priced hotels. You are close to everything in town. There is no need to move your car. It is an easy walk to everything.
