Souwester: Quirky place to stay
You can stay in your own motor home at this place. You can cook in them as well. They come with everything you need. It's a great time. They do have other accomodations there also, even camping.
It's really quiet and there is a lodge where you can go in and read and meet people. It has a hostel like feel to it. It's pet friendly.

Lighthouse Oceanfront Resort: Great Views, Comfortable Quarters, Quiet Time
This collection of one to three-bedroom units has ocean views. I think all the units have kitchens and decks. We enjoyed our 1-bedroom unit, although 2 bedrooms would have been a bit more comfortable for our family of 4. The girls complained about the mattress of the pull-out couch. The view was spectacular from our deck. The beach, a short walk through the dunes, was idyllic. You can't swim -- the Pacific there has strong rip tides and it's sooo cold. You can wade, however. There is an enclosed pool off the lobby. It's a bit out of town -- only a few miles. The accommodations are relatively basic, but did I mention the view?
Enclosed pool -- important since the ocean's riptides and temp prevent swimming.
