Accommodations in the Park

The National Park Inn is located in the Longmire Complex in the southwestern part of the park. The National Park Inn has 25 rooms and is open year round. At one point, the current building was an annex for the main motel which was built in 1906. When the main building burnt down in 1926, this building became the "National Park Inn". It is designed using a rustic style common to national parks in the west. There is a place here to buy groceries and a restaurant or snack bar is onsite. The Longmire museum and a few trailheads are part of the complex. Accessible rooms are available. Additional accommodations are available in nearby small towns. The nearest larger town is Enumclaw (population about 11,000). Tacoma is less than 100 miles away.

National Park Inn and Paradise Inn

There are two choices for a hotel stay in the park. The National Park Inn, located at Longmire, and the Paradise Inn, located at, guess where. Both are open year round and are clean yet no frills places. Both are also expensive for what they are, but that's the price for staying at a hotel in a National Park.
