Travel Tips for Pasco
Sacajwea State Park, Washington
"Historical Sacajewea State Park"
Sacajawea or Sacagawea was the indian guide who met Famous Lewis and Clark on their ground breaking trek through Northern America. This park is dedicated to her and tells her story and elaborates on the Lewis and Clark Journey. This is another exception Park for historical interest. It is excellent for children 4 and older. There are tours, art, movies and artifacts to make the story come to life for younger ones and the histoical facts are made equally intertaining for the adults. This was one of my all time favorite Historical parks! [The statue pictured isnot the one from Sacajewea State Park, but from Charlotteville) I didn't have any pictures from this park.

Pasco and the Tri-Cities
Pasco along with Kennewick and Richland form the Tri-Cities. I'm a Tri-Citian first that lives in Pasco.
The Tri-Cities is city with about 150,000 people with the Mighty Columbia River flowing down the center. Eons of Indians treated the rivershore as home, food source, and spiritual center. Lewis and Clark came along about a century ago too to explore the area for future subdivisions :)
Being about 350 feet above sea level and in the rain shadow of the Cascade Mountains the Tri-Cities is a desert with hot summer days and cools nights, late Falls and early Springs.
