Very Nice Accomodations for the location
There are a lot of hotels to choose from in Seattle. And, the cost will vary on many aspects the hotels have to offer from location, to cleanliness and service. I read a lot of reviews before deciding that this was the hotel I would like to stay at when I went to Seattle in August 2012. Pioneer Square is a quaint area with shops and art galleries. One drawback is that there are a lot of transients hanging around but they did not bother us as we walked around town. They are not just in Pioneer Square but throughout the city center.
This hotel was very nice. Nicer than I expected. We had a spacious, clean room and views of the Qwest Field Stadium, home to the Seattle Seahawks Football team. The king size bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately, it was a little noisy because of the sea gulls. Oh boy, are they loud! But that is something you would have to endure throughout the city center.
Last time, I stayed at the Westin which was great! But, the rates have about doubled from when I went 7 years ago. The Courtyard was reasonable (for me), ratings were good and, again, my choice was to be close to Pioneer Square.
Unique Quality: The do have a breakfast rate at about $20 more per room per two persons. That is pretty good I think! But, I didn't opt for breakfast because I know we will want to try out the various places around town.
