A Hidden Gem!
This hotel is deceiving from the outside. At first, it just looks like any other older hotel. But once you step inside, you feel like you are no longer in Seattle. My family and I live in Seattle and when we cannot afford to go on vacation, we will take a weekend off and spend it in the walls of this hotel. Remember,
If you stay here, get a room facing the atruim!!
Unique Quality: The best part of this hotel is the Atruim. The building is built around it. The 4 story ceiling is glass topped. The room is kept at a balmy, sub-tropical temperature and you are surrounded by trees and greenery. In the center is the pool, heated to around 80 F. It also has 2 hot tubs. The last time I was here, a wedding ceremony was taking place in the atrium. It was beautiful!
The hotel has a spa, a workout room, and a restaurant that all surround the atrium. The rooms are standard and are always clean. The staff is also very nice.
The first floor rooms have sliding glass doors and patios in the atrium.
