    Lake Washington

    by

This is a very basic hotel. The people at the front desk are very freindly. Has a small well kept pool. Clean rooms.

Unique Quality: This hotel is close to a Denny's and close to a beach, about a 5 minute drive to a nice little marina. Beautiful park at the Marina.

Directions: This hotel is right off the 405

    About 20 mins from town...

    by

The night we arrived in Seattle with no accomodation booked, we had to drive out of town, and found this cheapy...
Would I reccomend it for 1 night? Maybe. If your really not to worried about how clean your room is and the goings on outside.
Would I recommend it for a longer period? No.
This was very basic accomodation, and obviously you get what you pay for...I try to do things as cheaply as I can, as I'm hardly in my room. But I do expect a clean room. We had doonas on our bed with cigarette holes, and the bathroom left alotto be desired.
More interesting though, was what was going on outside in the car parking lot, and across the road...
There was a little grocery shop directly opposite and I'm not sure if it was a front for some other business, but I was suspecting that to be the case. cars were coming and going, glancing at the upstairs window. It also seemed to me that local people would walk in and out the hotel through the parking lot entrance.
When we parked our car to leave there were many people walking between the car park and the shop, and we were quite nervous about some of them...
As we drove out, we noticed signs posted on the street "drug and prostitution watch area". Look I'm not sure if thats the norm, but I've never seen anything like that before!
