"New Years Eve Bowling Party 2003"
We went to a special New Years Eve bowling evening which started at 5.30pm and went on through the night till 8am New years day.
Included in the package was, dinner, cake, drinks, party hats and accessories, and all the bowling you could manage.
They also laid on lots of different games where you could win money. Some of which Jyan joined in and Ted tried out other ones.
For example there was a Colorama Session from 8.00pm till 11.30pm - this involved coloured pins ie if the head pin was a colour, you could win money if you got a strike (all pins down on first throw).
Then you could win money if you had a strike on all whites (all white pins and no coloured ones) and also on splits (2 pins wide apart).
Plus we all bought raffle tickets and if one of your ticket numbers was called out, you had the chance to win money by getting a strike (all pins down on first throw).
At midnight, the lights went out, party lights came on and we rang in the New Year with a toast of champagne (courtesy of the bowling lane) (and finish off the bottle later hehehehe).
Then it was Rock and Roll and boogy lights session and lots of bowling into the morning hours!
