We were driving through, but we found Best Western Tumwater Inn so relaxing that we stayed 2 nights, then a third night when a motel we booked sight-unseen fell through.
We picked up travel coupon guides from rest stops on I-5, so scored a room for $60 per night (walk-in only: you can't reserve at this rate). After $10 per night dog fee and taxes, cost was $75.
Our room was very large, clean and quiet. It came with a frig, microwave, coffeemaker, dining table for 2, big tv, wireless (with a very weak signal), iron and board, and hair dryer. Exercise room with real weight machines and an indoor hot tub. We found the breakfast rated highest in the 10 motels we stayed in this trip. It is obvious the person who makes the breakfast puts forth extra effort - the oranges were intricately cut, there was a variety of fresh and tasty ripe fruit, and the pastries and muffins were good (unlike the cheap, tasteless, week old kind most motel breakfasts offer.) My partner had some good laughs with the guys who man the front desk.
We have only positive things to say about this motel: we definitely recommend it.
