"DOWNTOWN"
Visit Museums, Pike Place public Market, and the underground City. The underground City shows the old city that is mostly beneath the modern city
Chinatown is great and the restuarant on 565 king street named KAU KAU has a great lunch for 4.99 USD and the best barbecue pork ever. It is world renown for it's taste and popularity. There are carpool lanes which help leave/enter the city more efficiently. The Jimmie Hendrix museum is mind-numbing and the view of Lake Washington is great from the college stadium (Univ of WA Huskies). Boeing has great airplane museums here
"Ferries"
You can take ferries to the local islands and to Canada. It is cheaper and provides a better use of time than driving from Seattle to Canada.
You can tour the eco-friendly Rain forest West of Seattle from here as well
Bill Gates of Microsoft owns an island out here that can be toured. The Washington state ferry website has good info on most destinations
"East of Seattle"
Mt St Helens, Mt Baker, and green, natural scenery can be viewed by heicopter Helio boat.
Hangin out with 'sis and son

"It was good to catch up!"
Only spent a few days in Vancouver. While I was there I had the opportunity to catch up with my sister and her son. We had a lot of fun!
Unfortunately we didn't take the time to get any pictures. We went out to downtown Portland, Oregon my first night there where we had a good Chinese meal and a few drinks at a restaurant I don't remember the name of.
I also had a fair amount of time to spend with her son. Babysitting while "mommy" was at work. By the end of the trip he would be curious why I wasn't the one picking him up and changing him when he woke in the morning.
No, I didn't teach him any bad words ; )
The only downside... It made me miss my own daughter a lot at times.
