Stay Here Instead of a Hotel!
by TripAdvisor Member supersdc
This was an outstanding experience and an excellent location to go do some wine tasting in Walla Wallla. It is centrally located between downtown and some of the wineries on the outskirts of the city.
The Cezanne room was magnificent as was the whole property. Everything you need from a hotel was right there in your room, which had a wonderful decor. The kitchen/pantry was stocked with all your coffee and tea needs. Need some wine glasses? Don't worry you're covered! Little thirsty for a soda in your mini fridge? Go ahead, its stocked and the drinks are complimentary unlike the $4 a hotel will charge you for taking it out of the fridge. The living room had quite a selection of magazines and could be enjoyed right in front of a very cozy fireplace.
Definitely will return for the spring or summer. The innkeeper was outstanding and very helpful with any needs. What an amazing breakfast too, which is included with your stay. This is a nice quiet, romantic getaway and if you're headed to Walla Walla, look no further than staying here!
sweet home away from home

This was my second stay and I have officially found my "home away from home" in Walla Walla. Driving 5 hours for a business related trip makes checking into this place especially welcoming! You drive down a wonderfully tree lined driveway and walk through gardens to reach the office and that is just the introduction to this lovely property.
The grounds are beautiful, the rooms have the most comfortable beds and amenities, who could ask for more? Breakfast is menu style, and even delivered to your room should you desire (and which I took full advantage of)!
Barbara the Inn keeper is very unobtrusive leaving you to your devices if that is your wish and Georgia, well she gives me my "cat fix" while away from home. All of this at a price which can't be beat. I travel to Walla Walla every 6 months & this is where I will stay, if a room is available!
Great Place in WallaWalla
by TripAdvisor Member PilgrimLarabee
We have just returned from a wine tasting trip through eastern Washington, including WallaWalla. I found this Inn googling and the reviews were right on-what a great stay! From the fabulous espresso, to the 700 count sheets, the experience was first rate. Barbara is an excellent cook and no detail in this antique-decorated mansion , was overlooked. I very much recommend this Inn for a comfortable, stress-reducing place to stay anytime you're in WallaWalla.
Wonderful, great experience

We were on our honeymoon and booked our room at the last minute for a week of wine tasting in the Walla Walla valley. Was a VERY comfortable stay. Our room was lovely, the bed was comfy and easy to relax in. We stayed in Cezanne's Sanctuary and the room had everything you'd need - tv, fridge, wineglasses (with complimentary drinks, no charge) and a private bathroom. The room was great - though if we had booked sooner we could have gotten the ground floor room with the jacuzzi!
Breakfast was delicious, and Barbara gives a menu of choices - so you're not stuck to one type or another. Choice is great!
Also, it just feels like you're home.. you can grab a good cup of coffee any time of the day, and Barbara bakes fresh cookies everyday for the grabbing - delicious!
No downsides to this B & B. There are even bikes available for use - if you want to peddle around Walla Walla. Which might not be a bad idea after all that wine tasting :)
All and all this was a great place to stay, I'd recommend to anyone!
This is a 5 Star B & B!

We have stayed in B & B's all over the world and the Inn at Blackberry Creek is one of the best ever.
We knew as we walked through the lush landscaping with the Creek softly purring to check in that this B & B would exceed our expectations.
Warm, friendly greeting, fresh baked cookies and soft music awaited us. Our room (Renoir's Suite) was perfectly appointed with a massive 4 poster bed, antiques, fine linens, luxurious bathrobes and spotlessly clean. Cleanliness is a major factor to us along with No Smoking and No Pets.
Barbara has done a magnificent job with her B & B and thought of everything. Breakfast was excellent with many choices and served quite elegantly in the dining room near the crackling fireplace.
We will stay here again the next time we return to this area.
An outstanding B&B experience

We really can't add anything to the many commendations posted by previous reviewers. We've stayed in many B&Bs throughout the US, and the Inn at Blackberry Creek is certainly one of the best. Not only is the inn a beautiful, meticulously restored property, but the hosts offers everything a traveler could want in terms of warm hospitality and delicious food. We look froward to a return visit.
Our wonderful, relaxing and beautiful stay.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Blackberry Creek Inn during the Wine Spring Release May 3-5. The grounds are unbelievable, the food delicious, the beds so comfortable. Barbara does everything possible to make our stay the best. She has taken so many steps in making sure her guests are comfortable. When in Walla Walla be sure to stay at this retreat!!!!
Oasis in the city

Inn at Blackberry Creek is just perfect. I was in Walla Walla for a business trip and was so happy to have stayed at the Blackberry Creek.
The Inn is in a great location right near downtown and close to Whitman campus. Barbara has a fabulous downstairs area with computer access, a fireplace, and tea or coffee and a treat every night.
The rooms upstairs are lovely. I stayed in Cezanne's Sanctuary which was great! Overlooking the gardens in the back and perfectly quite. The king bed was so comfortable and luxurious, I fell right to sleep. The bathroom had everything: space, large shower, even a view. I have never seen such attention to detail down to how she readied the TP-see picture.
Barbara was warm, offering advice and are generally just super friendly. Her breakfast is outstanding - a large amount of varied and interesting food.
I have no hesitation in recommending this Inn for anyone stay while in Walla Walla.
Best from East to West
by TripAdvisor Member KathyTravel
We stayed at the Inn at Blackberry Creek twice last fall. It was the highlight of our visits to Walla Walla.
I have spent some time at some of the top rated B&B's over the last few years from California to Vermont. There is no doubt in my mind that Barbara has come the closest to perfection. She has "nailed it" in all aspects one looks for in staying in this type of lodging.
1. Best cookies and coffee.
2. Wonderful room and bedding.
3. Helpful arrival information and restaurant advice.
4. A breakfast with choices that are all superb.
5. An innkeeper who is welcoming but not intrusive.
I would rate Inn at Blackberry Creek a 5 Star+. Barbara, we'll have to find excuses to come back to Walla Walla just to stay with you again.
