Twin Harbors Campground, Washington: Twin Harbors a great campground!
We gambled on Twin Harbors by booking through the self-service web site with Washington State Parks. A 172-acre campground with many sites and very close access to rolling sandy beaches along the ocean.
Some campsites are more open than others and some have partial tree and privacy. Most have sun all day. This campground is one of the best I have stayed at in Washington.
A truck circles the campsite loops selling firewood ($5 for a bundle and $2 for kindling). A park host is available for additional information.
Bathrooms are very basic. Good free showers, but the bathrooms were kind of messy or dirty.

Mariners Cove Inn: It's a bed
First of all, I travel alot on business and have stayed at alot of nice hotels. The room here was very clean, roomy, sparse. Perfect for the 2 and a half hours of sleep we got before leaving for our fishing trip.
Far enough from the water, close enough to the town and our departure point.
