This was a gem of a motel but it was a bit tough to locate. The motel was off the I-79 exit but there was no directional sign and we passed it before we saw the motel in the distance. Then we had to loop around the local roads to get back to the ramp area.
For $70 (AAA) we got a two bed room, non-smoking. The furnishings and draperies were a bit drab but everything was neat and clean. The linens and towels did not have any apparent rips or spots.
The room had cable TV, night lights, internet access, coffee maker (very important) for which the desk gave us extra packets, and enough room to move around without stumbling into each other. The bathroom and vanity area were spotless and all the fixtures worked well.
The price included a fairly nice continental breakfast (I am normally not a big breakfast person anyways). And one big perk was that the motel did not allow pets (I hate having a flea ridden room or one that smells like wet dog).
The malls, civic center and art district were all within 5 miles of the motel.
