Good For Solo
This is one of the older style motels with external entrances to each unit. It is two stories with a slow but reliable elevator for us older folks who get a room on the balcony level.
I thought the AAA price of $70 was right in line with the area and the condition of the motel.
Everthing worked fine but everything was definitely dated. The room was neat, clean and did not smell of smoke but the furnishings and fixtures were definitely not new. Bathroom had been completely regrouted (which is good) and there were a few burn marks on the counter (which means someone was smoking in a non-smoking room at one time or the room had been a smoking room in years past).
The rooms were not very large but there was enough room to move around without banging into furniture or each other.
We had two double beds of adequate firmness but not enough pillows for me (I like about three).
The room had cable TV, internet access, coffee maker, hair dryer and ironing board. For an additional cost you could also get a microwave and small refrigerator but we were only staying overnite and did not need those.
Room rate included a pretty good continental breakfast with cold cereal, waffles, danish, muffins, toast, juice, coffee and fresh fruit.
It wasn't fancy and the price was reasonable and everything worked. Can't ask for much more than that.
