80% of the rooms and all the common areas in the motel are smoke-free areas. This is a positive for my wife who goes absolutely balistic over cigarette/cigar/pipe smoke and smell.
We always get a non-smoking room with two beds on a non-smoking floor preferably.
Another plus for this motel is that it does not allow pets. There is nothing worse than getting a room where someone's dog with fleas has been the day before.
The motel had a nice indoor pool and a whirlpool in the spa area. There was a fax machine and a small central internet room; internet was also provided in each room as an amenity.
The rooms came with coffee maker and optional microwave and refrigerator. There was a hairdryer and ironing equipment in each room also.
The rooms were neat and clean but not the most modern furnishings. Everything was functional but somewhat dated. The bathroom was spotless but again the fixtures were not new although they were well-kept. Free cable TV and continental breakfast was part of the package. Rooms with 2 queen beds were $90 AAA prices. If you wanted more luxury, like a jacuzzi or a sofa, then the suite prices topped out at about $150.
