Pine Ridge Motel: Excellent Low Cost Choice
On road trips, and especially when I am traveling alone, I often stop at small independent "mom and pop" motels. Occasionally I regret the choice, but more often than not I get a decent room at a good price. Pine Ridge Motel was definitely better than most - a large, clean, comfortable room at an excellent value.
There are 3 or 4 other accomodations choices in Dodgeville, including some chain motels. But the next time I am in Dodgeville I'll definitely save a little money without sacrificing quality by staying at the Pine Ridge Motel.

You may want too check into camping in the area. Governor Dodge State Park is just a couple miles outside of town and is an absolutly beautiful park. For a less crowded campground, try Tom's Campground, which is a short 10 minute drive outside of town.
