Country Inn Suites Eau Claire, Eau Claire, WI - Reviews and Hotel Information

After our first night on the road when we wandered around downtown Albany, NY in the darkness looking for a spot, followed by a trucker's paradise in the middle of nowhere in Ohio the next night, we decided that we would go 'up-scale' when we finally reached Eau Claire! The first turn off into the city brought us to the Country Inn Suites, and we were not disappointed by our decision to overnight there. Our total bill was US$129 (and, thanks to the Canadian $ finally being worth more, our actual costs were slightly less than that).

Our room was very comfortable and plush, the staff were welcoming and we had an excellent continental breakfast included the next morning. After three straight days of driving 1000-km (620-miles) per day, we were not in the mood for any sort of nightlife so we were very pleased to see that the next door Jade Garden restaurant, specializing in Chinese cuisine provided quick deliveries to our motel. As detailed in my 'Restaurant' tip, we were not disappointed by our choice and were soon asleep with big smiles on our faces.
