"BOTTOM OF THE LAKE"
Fond du Lac literally translated means bottom of the lake, Lake Winnebago that is. This is a large town, small city, which ever you prefer to call it. There are tons of places to eat here and even more places to grab a beer or two. The town loves it's sports and every bar you go to has some sort of event going on, whether it be volley ball, soft ball, darts or bowling, there is always sometihing to watch.
"Cheese Please"
Who can write about anywhere is Wisconsin, withouth writing about cheese. Fond du Lac has several cheese production outfits, so if you are really bored take a tour or two. Two of the bigger places to see are the Baker's Cheese Factory and the Grande Cheese Factory. Kids actually like this cause they get free string cheese and we all know kids like string cheese.
