Packer Game Tailgate Parties

by kneufeld

I am coming for a Packers/Vikings game from Saskatchewan, Canada and want to know about tailgate parties. I can buy tickets to a tailgate party online at the Brett Farve Steakhouse? Is this suggested? Are there other tailgate parties? Do they cost money? Any advice?
Also, what is the average temperatuure in November?

Thanks, Keri

This is the average temp on Nov 11:
ave High: 45°F
ave low: 28°F
Record high/low: 68°F (1964) 7°F (1979)

You're from Canada, you'll be fine. :) I'd be very surprised if it's snowing, hopefully not raining and cold. Leaves will be off the trees by then.

I've never been to a game there, but have been to the Packer hall of fame three times. According to his website tickets for the tailgate are $25? That's a fair price. all u can eat and drink.....Just 2 brats and 2 beers will probably run you about $12-$15 outside the stadium. Here you'll be with many others, which will make it more fun. and you'll get to eat more than just brats (bratwurst-THE Wisconsin food). If you're coming from that far, I'd do it--who knows if you'll ever be at another Packer game, tickets are hard to get.

I'm sure there are others like this, probably a bit cheaper...but I don't know much about them. There will be many local groups selling food near the Stadium, so you can always get something to eat if you don't go to a tailgate party. 95% of the fans will be at a party/parking lot 2 hrs+ before the game, even though the game starts at noon.

Have fun, I wish I was there.

Why come to Green Bay?

Go to Bay Beach Amusement Park, Tickets there are only 20 cents a piece! and also be sure to take in a piece of the Lambeau Field tour and the Packer Pro Shop. For The Parents, Try your luck at the Oneida Bingo & Casino located right across from Austin Straubel Airport. Green Bay is sure to be a lot of fun when you come by and visit I loved the Green Bay Winters. Going sledding as a kid down Firemen's Hill. Playing in the over 20" of snow Green Bay used to get. Those were the good old days.

Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary

by apuleuis

700 acre wildlife refuge which includes many trails, a nature center and a zoo-like area. Free admission. Open year round. Make sure to bring a 50 cents and feed the geese while you are there. Also right by the amusement park, mini-golf and go-carts.

The Vikings and Packers

by acemj

I know this is a Green Bay page, but let's talk about one of the greatest rivalries in the National Football League. Vikes-Pack! The Vikings and Packers have had some of the most elite players in the National Football League. Brett Favre, Bart Starr, James Lofton and Reggie White are just some of the Packers greats over the years. The Vikes have has such illustrious players as Fran Tarkenton, Carl Eller, Alan Paige, Cris Carter and Randy Moss.

Green Ba is alot of fun to go to. You can go wth friends or for fun by yourself. But make sure you know where you are going because you can get lost really easily and fast. Make sure you read signs to because there are alot of one way streets and make sure you can keep up with other cars. It can be very busy so be careful.
