Teal Lake
"Ross' Teal Lake Lodge"
After 16 years of wanting to go back, we finally re-visited the North Woods in Wisconsin, staying on Teal Lake.
Pros: Great lake views, wonderfully relaxing vaction - secluded cabin was beautifully decorated - all pine walls and ceiling, Stickley style furniture, new cabinets, tempur-pedic mattress, etc. We spent a lot of time on the private dock, had fun playing badminton, roasted smores one night in small firebit behind the cabin, saw some fireworks at a nearby resort while having dinner, and took a boat out on the lake.
Cons: Expensive - I woudn't stay here again unless we got a better deal.
We visited the previous cabin that we stayed at 16 years ago at Northland Lodge, which is about 1/4 the cost of where we stayed this time. I'd highly recommend Northland Lodge, but wouldn't expect luxury.
