Art Deco elegance
This is another property that I ventured into but did not stay here -- yet I was impressed! The photos of the rooms plus the fact that they have fireplace spa rooms are all very impressive. This is not the place for the budget traveler but perhaps for a romantic time or for a very "chic" room in downtown Milwaukee this could be a very good choice.

Cool 1920's style luxury hotel downtown
My company sometimes puts people up at this place and I've seen the rooms as well as eaten at their restaurant and can thus recommend it as one of the two places to stay in Milwaukee.
Unique Quality: This hotel is simply cool. The Art Deco building dates back to 1936 and renovated in 1998 but the decoration is generally 1920s. The staff is friendly, the food and location is excellent and the rooms are great. Not only is the hotel right in the middle of downtown, but it is on Milwaukee Street which is beginning to have some of the newest & coolest restaurants, clubs, and bars.
