Tellen Woodland Sculpture Garden
Hidden in the woods surrounding a simple log cabin is a trasure. You're welcomed in through a 65 foot long trompe l'oeil masterpiece of weathered log fence, a Native Amercian family, a bear and two cubs, all made out of concrete and cement.
Other tableaux sculptures include Abe Lincoln, Jesus, man on a raft, a cowboy on a horse, drunken husband, elves making wine, a goat and skunk, St. Peter and a water fall, and many more.
These were created by James Tellen started in 1942 and continuing until his death in 1957. The sculpture garden is open year-round, dawn until dusk.
