Sparta...home of the fiberglass statues!
You know all those giant fiberglass statues you see in front of restaurants, or on the roadside, many of them were probably made in Sparta, Wisconsin.
We stopped here on the way from Minneapolis to Madison, and checked out the place they make these figures. They have a few figures there, but mostly they have all the old molds they use to make them. If you are in the area, it is worth a 15 minute stop to check it out.
Here's a pic of my wife and I with none other than E.T., I only wished I would have brought some Reese's pieces.
