Something else near Wisconsin Dells is 'House on the Rock'. It is a house that is built on an actual rock. The house stretches 3 miles and has the world's largest carousel inside. There are also beautiful flower gardens outside the house.
Go to the strip. Actual downtown Wisconsin Dells. It is the best. There are a bunch of stores that have really cheap stuff. There are also lots of restaurants to choose from if you are planning to go shopping on the strip all day.
There are many kinds of stores to choose from.
When Osama Bin Ladin goes to hell it will looks something like the Wisconsin Dells. It is a vacation place for the American Midwest and has classic kitschy Americana look. There is lots of miniature golf, horseback ridding, roller coasters, camping, fishing, and “all you can eat buffets”. Yes, it is tacky, but it can be a lot of fun. We rented a nice house for less than what the hotels would have charged. We sat down in the “all you can eat buffet” for so long we ended up having breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
