With evening approaching and the only highlight of the day so far having been the rest stop at good old Chugwater, we decided to make our next overnight stop at Douglas, rather than continue through to Casper.

Ach, well, these are the little decisions that add to our ever-growing fund of minor tales from the road and I suppose, on reflection, Douglas has its bit-part to play - the journey just wouldn't have been the same without it!

I hate to keep you in suspense, but I will - you'll just have to visit the hotel tip for the story!
