The Stone House, Dubois: Real Hospitality

Sadly just one night here. Our own 3 room cottage with living room, bedroom and large kitchenete which provided a second pull down bed, and a bathroom. A breakfast like no other we have experienced anywhere. This has to be anyones number 1 choice if travelling to/through Dubois.

Special thanks to Grace for tracking down our next stop from what must have been a very vague reference during breakfast to post on my jacket that I managed to leave behind.

Unique qualities? Definitely the breakfast.

The Branding Iron Inn: Log Cabin Motel

On a road trip through Wyoming, I stayed at the Branding Iron Inn in Dubois, Wyoming. It's about an hour away from the Yellowstone Park. I really enjoyed staying there. It was 40 $ for two people, it was clean and pretty and the owners were very nice and helpful. The town is small and pretty, looks like a Western town, all wood, and you can get a great breakfast at the Cowboy Cafe.

The motel has a very special feel to it, since every room was its own little log cabin. It made you feel like you were in a whole different era. Very fun!
The location is beautiful.
