The Best Hotel in Gillette You Don't Know About
Was passing through town and stayed here. Was really surprised about the uniqueness of the decor compared to other hotels in town. It had a old-west theme (with actual saddles and cowboy boots on the wall) with all the modern amenities (free high speed internet etc.) a modern traveler would look for. The rooms are giant. We asked about special deals, and they upgraded us to a king suite for $10. I would definitely recommend this place to other travelers. Further, they have a happy hour on weeknights with appetizers and free drinks. Hooray!
In terms of drawbacks, it is a ways away (2 or 3 miles) from Gillette restaurants and businesses, but there is a little store in the hotel where you can buy frozen dinners, ice cream, snacks, soups, and other items that can be prepared in the room with the microwave and fridge.
Unique Quality: Super friendly staff. These people went out of their way to make us happy. The free breakfast was fantastic. They had hot biscuits and gravy and a waffle maker for us to use as well fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, and decent coffee.
