Signal Mountain Cabin by kazander Oh how I loved staying at Signal Mountain! Following a tip from VT member AnnK, I looked into staying here for our 1st couple days of the Honeymoon. I booked us a few nights in our own private log cabin with a fireplace and little porch. it was just heavenly. Very rustic and beautiful, we just had to step a few feet from our cabin for gorgeous Teton mountain views over Jackson Lake. Other accomodations here include lakeside retreats with kitchens and living rooms, cabins without fireplaces that can accomodate families, bungalows, country rooms and a campsite. All rooms have modern bathrooms and are fully carpeted.
Signal Mountain has 3 resturants, a couple gift shops, a convience store, a campsite, boat rentals , and they organize rafting "float" trips down the Snake River.

Ranch Inn by kazander If you want to visit Grand Teton National Park, but would also like to have a bit of nightlife, you might want to stay in the town of Jackson. Just about a half hour drive south of the park, the town is very cute with tons of shops, resturants, bars a movie theater, ect.. The Ranch Inn is just a block away from the town's main square. So we could easily walk to get dinner and drinks. The room itself was nice, it had a private balcony which was lovely. My only complaint was that we had a room with a connecting door which enabled us to hear a bit too clearly the conversation of the next door occupant. (You may want to ask for a room that does not connect to another)
We were able to use the hotels wireless internet connection for our laptop. Continental breakfast can be found next to the lobby.

Sunset over the Tetons from the lodge's terrace by toonsarah Jackson Lake is one of several lodges in the park. We chose it partly because of its location, perched on a bluff overlooking the lake, and partly because of the reputation of its restaurant, the Mural Room - we were celebrating our Silver Wedding Annivesary and wanted to be able to do so in some style! We had a very good sized cabin a short walk from the main lodge. It was well-appointed and comfortable but perhaps a little functional in appearance for the price ($179). There are more expensive cabins available, which have mountain views, and (I think) a few rooms in the lodge itself. The lodge has several restaurants and shops, an outside pool (although it was a little cool for that when we visited in early September) and organises excursions for those who don't want to explore the park by themselves. It's open from mid May to the end of September.
The lodge is a pretty imposing building. The lobby is on a lower floor and you walk upstairs to a large lounge area with enormous picture windows looking out towards the willow flats, Jackson Lake, and the mountains beyond - enough to take your breath away! On either side of this lounge are the Mural Room restaurant and Blue Heron Lounge, which share the same stunning view, plus a cafeteria style grill. You can step outside onto a series of terraces from which we were lucky enough to see a moose cow and calf at breakfast time strolling up from the lake.

Signal Mtn Lodge by annk It's the only lodge located on Jackson Lake. Views of the mountains and lake were spectacular. You can chose from cabins some with fireplaces or lakefront retreats (2 level quad). We chose the lakefront retreat and the lodging was much larger than anticipated. Furnishings are somewhat old but clean and maintained. The bedroom was very large, plus there is a living room with sofa bed, kitchen and dining area. Also a large picture window and balcony.
There are 2 restaurants, a bar, 2 gifts shops, marina, boat rentals, and float trips available. Theme: HotelPrice: US$120-180 » Currency ConverterComparison: more expensive than averageAddress: P.O. Jenny Lake Lodge by annk We didn't stay here but the lodge was highly recommended. It's very expensive and upscale and lodging includes meals as well. It's situated very close to the Tetons in a woodsy area that's very secluded. The lodge and guest cabins are very rustic and charming. There are places to stay within the park. We stayed at a cute little condo in Jackson, WY. It had one small bedroom with a kitchen, washer/dryer, and fireplace. It could sleep about 6 people because of the bunk beds.

Jenny Lake Lodge is a great place to stay since it's a bunch of transplanted cabins at the base of the Tetons in kind of a luxuary setting -- the food is gourmet, the scenery is surreal and the whole atmosphere is one of peace and quiet. Jackson Lake Lodge has both accomodations in cabins and rooms within a lodge building. I recommend the 900 series rooms since the views from these rooms are really cool!!! Colter Bay is tent cabins and RV park.

Inside the Colter Bay log cabin by kawanua We were looking for accomodation within the park that fit our budget. We considered camping grounds, but with a small kid and Fall season just around the corner, we decided to get a cabin instead. We got a cabin with two standard beds attached to a private bath with hot water. Our cabin is one in a series of four attached cabins. The room is clean, but don't expect it to be like a hotel room. This is a log cabin, and I found a small spider next to the window. :-) The room is heated which is the main reason we picked a cabin instead of a camp ground. We parked our car just outside the cabin, but took all the food inside the cabin. There were warnings posted everywhere about keeping food out of reached from the bears. But we didn't see or hear any bear the whole time we were there. There's a restaurant within the cabin complex which is just a short walk from our cabin. Since there were only few lights outside the cabin, it got pretty dark in the evening. You may want to carry a flashlight when going for dinner in the restaurant. by GroovyDoc In peak season, without a reservation, I got a room here for $50. It had two single beds, a stand up shower, and free continental breakfast. I parked right outside my room, the manager was super nice, and they even did a wake up call. Oh, and the BEST part was the location in the center of Jackson Hole! Can't beat that!
