    The 49ers Hotel, which is a Quality Inn hotel, is located in the downtown area of Jackson. You will also get rewards points if you have joined the Choice Hotels membership (you can join right away and get reward points for your stay). Just a few blocks walk to all the stores and many of the restuarants in town. This is probably a mid-priced hotel and we got a suite with a fireplace which is about $20 more per night. The fireplace is nice to watch, but you really don't need it. It was toasty warm in the room even when it was only 10deg F outside. We only used it once or twice. There is also wireless internet at the hotel if you have your own computer otherwise there is one in the lobby. A self-serve continental breakfast available in a seperate building.

    There is a hot tub outside which I was looking forward to getting in one night, but it didn't happen this time. This is a popular hotel for skiers, and many of the buses in town stop out front enroute to Grand Teton and Snow King Resort
