    • We recently stayed at the Cowboy Village Resort and really enjoyed it. Each unit is a separate log-style cabin, complete with a wee porch, picnic table and grill. We chose a unit with a separate bedroom; the "living area" had a comfy sofa, small dining table with 2 chairs, a kitchen that more than met our needs--fridge, sink, 2-burner stove, microwave, plus tableware (4 plates, 4 cups, utensils, skillet), coffee maker with coffee makings. The feeling is cozy and western; not luxurious but very comfy.

    We travel with our dog and this place is very dog-friendly--clean-up bag dispensers are posted throughout the site; each unit has a small lawn for doggie fun. Their only request is the dog not be left alone.

    The staff was very friendly; downtown is within walking distance; Bubbas is a dash across a street. It was surprisingly quiet. We do not have children, but, I can imagine kids would love this place due to the "old west" feel and outdoor areas to romp.

    We were very pleased with our stay.

    I really enjoyed the resort. It is a community of cabins based around a central complex with outdoor hottubs ( a must after skiing Jackson Hole). They have a game grill weekly and offer free shuttle service to the ski area. It is also walking distance to a smaller local mountain, Snow King, which has night skiing and sponsers the annual snowmobile hill clim, which is in the early spring and is areally big deal. My cabin was a 1 BR with loft space to throw gear and kitchenette. It was clean, cute, and spacious enough to spend a week. I also had a chance to see the studios with bunks, and they didn't have as much space but still had the same charm. It was also walking distance to downtown Jackson's bars and restaurants.

    The hot tubs are the best and having your own kitchen can't be beat. They also had continental breakfast served daily as part of your stay. We booked a package online through Jackson Hole's central res system which included our lift tickets for around $150 per day for two people, which is a really good deal.
