We stayed one night at the Antler Inn in Jackson and loved it. Our room was spacious, had all the amenities, and nice touches (wooden post furniture, deer base lamps, cute).
Apparently it's family run, one of the few places that can claim such an ownership.
It's done in log cabin style but that doesn't mean there's holes in the wall.
It was right across the street from the Teton Restaurant and adjacent to all the shops and impressive galleries around the town square.
There are 110 rooms in 2 stories and there's free internet in room.
Unique Quality: We were lucky enough to get an upstairs room that gives you a nice outlook over the town, so you don't have to freeze by going outdoors when it's cold.
Everyone calls it the Antler Inn, I'm not sure where the "Friendship" came in.
This is for sure an OK place to stay. We got the last room just above the reception which was on of the first rooms of the hotel when they opened 50 years ago. That was more or less the feel we got as well. A bit old and muffy but somehow kind of special. However we would not want this room any more.
Unique Quality: The Antler Inn is one of the better located property in Jackson Hole, 1 block south of Jackson's charming, western Town Square, and just steps from numerous restaurants, shops, art galleries, and nightspots. Over 110 rooms, many with fireplaces, a 25 person hot tub, sauna, and 100 person conference room, the Antler is the perfect place for anyone looking for fine accommodations in the middle of everything.
Directions: Could not be more centrally located. See above with Unique Qualities.
Lots of parking available.
This Hotel was right in the city centre, close to all the shops.
You can choose between King & Queen rooms and Cedar Cabin rooms. They are airconditioned, have hairdryer's, coffee makers, fridge, iron and ironing board and more.
Just across the road was a great place for meals.
Accommodation was good.
Unique Quality: One block South of the Town Square
2 miles from the National Elk Refuge
10 miles from Grand Teton National Park
55 miles from Yellowstone National Park
There are Hotels/Motels with all kinds of amenities available. Sleek and modern rooms and some with that ole mountain man feel. A cedar wood cabin room at the Antler Inn gives you the best ambience of cowboy living. Oh, they have rooms with fireplaces in a nice setting but the scent of real wood walls in the room makes you want to grab your cowboy boots and hat and mosey on down to the Town Square only one block away.
Unique Quality: A 25-person hot tub calls on the winter nights, and feels good after a hike in the hills or through town. They also have a complimentary ski shuttle during the snow season.
Directions: One block south of the Town Square at Cache and Pearl Streets. Price is for the Cedar Log Rooms.
