Spent $170.00 a night for a suite. Although it had a fireplace and kitchenette, I was told over the phone that it had a big screen tv. I visioned a tv on the wall, but what it ended up being was a tv on a turntable that you could turn from the living room to the bed room. (This is not a big screen tv to me) Since the weather was nice, we left the windows open. Big mistake....When the bars closed around 1:30 in the morning, all you heard was screaming, yelling, motorcycles & cars racing down the street......The window was broken in our room and wouldn't close all the way, so you could still hear the outside noise. The second night we used the air conditioning. It ran for hours and the room still wasn't cool. We were on the second floor, and it was difficult getting our luggage up the stairs. It had free parking which was great because you can walk practically anywhere. Other than that, I thought it was over-priced
Unique Quality: The view was great from our room.. mountains, mountains and more mountains
Directions: Downtown
For the last night of our honeymoon, we decided to stay in the town of Jackson. The Ranch Inn is just a block away from the town's main square. So we could easily walk to many resturants, bars and shops.
The room itself was nice, it had a private balcony which was lovely. My only complaint was that we had a room with a connecting door which enabled us to hear a bit too clearly the conversation of the next door occupant. (You may want to ask for a room that does not connect to another)
Unique Quality: We were able to use the hotels wireless internet connection for our laptop.
Continental breakfast can be found next to the lobby.
