Basic but beautiful location
The pitches are generally spacious and surrounded by trees. The campsite is right by the lake and there were some wonderful sunsets. There are quite strict rules about generators etc and the camp seemed more suited to tents. There are no bathrooms here, just pit toilets. You can get a shower at the other larger camps in Yellowstone.
Get here early as it's first come first served. People were lining up for a space by about 10am in July.
Unique Quality: lakeside views, close to yellowstone lake and the southern end of the park. Easy access out to Grand Teton NP.
