B.A's Best Budget Hotel

I discovered Alfa Hotel on the 3 day of my trip to BA. (Please refer to my review on the Gran Hotel Argentino.) Alfa Hotel is considered a budget hotel, but the rate is the same as Gran Hotel Argentino. The manager of Alfa gave me a 10% discount for cash. (Gran Hotel Argentino would not.) But the value that I got was well worth it, at least more than in the Hotel Argentino.
It is a small hotel, but very clean. The rooms were freshly painted, and the one that I had faces the street, so it was bright, though noisy at times. There is even a safe in the room, so my passports, etc., were pretty safe. (At the Gran Hotel Argentino, I had to leave my valuables in a safe at the front-desk, and although I had access to it anytime, it was rather inconvenient. Besides, they charged me a peso a day for the safe. At Alfa Hotel, it was free.)

Unique Quality: Since it is a budget hotel, there was no pool or dining room service. However, the staff would happily get you a drink in the middle of the night if you ask for it.
The most outstanding feature of Alfa Hotel got to be the staff. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Service was prompt and with a smile.
