has anyone heard or stayed at the Amerian Buenos Aires Park Hotel? Also theClaridge Hotel.?

I stayed at the Claridge Hotel (believe it was right on Florida St., or at least just a block or so away if it isn't), but it was quite a while ago -- 1996, I think. Rooms were a bit small, but it was conveniently located, and the staff was good. Got hit up by a working girl in the hotel bar, though.

My husband & I stayed at the Claridge Hotel in October 2005 and again in January 2006. We loved it! Very old world style with an awesome bar/lounge. The guest rooms are somewhat on the small side, but very clean. Staff is nice and hotel is located about 1/2 block from Florida Street, the main shopping area. Have a great trip. BA is our 2nd favorite foreign city 2nd only to London.

Just spent 7 days at The Sheraton Liberator on Cordoba. It is one block from Florida. Good location. Nice staff. Clean.
