This place is my favorite hotel in BsAs that I've seen so far. Am thoroughly convinced I have a favorite room here even. It is a boutique hotel in Palermo, which is an area I would like to explore more than I have. A bustling restaurant and bar area downstairs that is quite well known in its own right the hotel is small. Only having a few rooms. But it is very much worth it in my mind.
The room had a deck with a table and chairs outside on it. Had the weather been better the French doors would have been open and we would have partied there. But as it was we were inside and just chilling with a bottle of wine.

I have rented apartments from BYTArgentina several times. I have been very happy with them so far and always continue to be impressed with the service provided by this site. The prices are still fairly reasonable and compared to a hotel a SUPER bargain.
It was a much cheaper and more comfortable experience than staying in a hotel. Renting an apartment affords me the feeling of living here. I make myself a part of the neighborhood while I am here. Meeting the same girl in the bakery every morning. The local bartenders saying hello as I walk by even if I'm not coming inside now. Things like that that normally don't happen while staying in a hotel. There is a down side to this though as in all my trips here I still have a LOT of BsAs to see. Just that I'm so happy just being here in "my" neighborhood that I am a little reluctant to leave.

Hotel Callao - Corner of Callao and Sarmiento by Bwana_Brown It had been a busy Christmas season, with guests at our home, and I had not yet managed to finalize any arrangements for our 4-night stay in Buenos Aires. Finally, on Jan. 8th, little more than two weeks before our departure, I took the advice of the Lonely Planet guide and called the Nuevo Callao Hotel as a possible mid-range choice in the downtown area. No luck with their receptionist (his English was about as good as my Spanish) so I instead sent them an email requesting availability and price. They were fast, responding the same day saying that a double room was available for US$32 including breakfast and taxes! Bingo, the deal was sealed with my credit card details - I was not expecting to be in downtown Buenos Aires for that price!
Located in an older building, but recently renovated, this 45-room hotel was what we were looking for. Something with a bit of local flair to it, instead of some world-wide chain with the latest in furniture! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room suited our needs perfectly. It turned out to be a room overlooking Av. Callao, one floor up from street level. In the photo, it has the tall single door with the rounded top, in the shaded area to the left, beside a small Jacaranda tree. A bright breakfast nook was located half a floor up from their lobby, with two small windows looking out onto the busy Av. Callao below. They usually had a single person running the breakfast show, preparing and delivering your order of toast and coffee/pastries to go with fresh orange juice. On our final morning, I was astounded to find out, while talking to three of the other guests, that they were from my home province of New Brunswick, Canada. A closer focus soon revealed that the man of the family and I had met with each other on business-related matters only a few months before! What a small world. We spent our first 3 nights in Argentina here, as well as our final night before flying out for home. When we left for the airport on our final day in Argentina, the manager arranged for a private taxi to deliver us to the International Airport outside the city. | Hotel Posta Carretas: Old fashioned and comfy

Lobby by Orkaena This hotel has an excellent location, downtown B.A. and at one block from the Florida footstreet, the commercial heart of the city. The ambiance is old fashioned, with a style more proper of the '80 than the XXI century, but in good shape. Comfortable suites and full equipped, with a dark decoration, a little bit excessive for me. Correct and serviceable maidens and waiters, standard breakfasts and not expensive. The hotel has a pool inside, gym, spa, and Internet connections of course.
This hotel doesnt has nice views, even hasnt views cause is located in a narrow street with buildings. Anyway the location is very good, close of everywhere. The Obelisk by Orkaena We stayed only two nights here, this hotel is located in the very center of the city, beside the Obelisco, the traditional landmark of B.A. The hotel is almost new, modern and eclectic. In my opinion the rooms could be more larger, but no doubts are comfortable. Rooms equipped with Mini-bar, Safe Deposit Box, TV, Telephone, Fax, Airconditioning, Jacuzzi, Balcony, Radio, Toilet, Internet facilities, Hair Dryer, Wake Up Service/Alarm-clock, Kitchenette, Refrigerator.
In front of the Obelisc, right in the heart of Buenos Aires, where Av. 9 de Julio and Av. Corrientes Street meet, next to Teatro Colon, 400m from Florida, the pedestrian street with the most important commercial activity, surrounded by theaters, opera houses and shows. Milhouse hostel by sabrina_florida First I have to admit that I've never stayed here. Why should I? This is the city where I live! But I got to meet people who have stayed here and once I got to be inside it and what's more, I went up to one of the private double rooms (no, I was not with a guy!). The building from outside is rather offputting I have to say, due to its grey walls. Then inside, in the lounge, you get the typical hostel atmosphere. BUT, when you start going up the stairs, that's when you get to see its beautiful, last century architecture. The double room where my friends were staying had a wooden floor, a very nice private bathroom and an antique closet. They paid 65 pesos a night for it (around 20 dollars), with breakfast included! The shared room I think is around 18 pesos per person. There's a notice board in the lounge where you get messages from people who called you when you were in, or daily updated news about events and things to do in Buenos Aires. It's located 5 blocks away from the Obelisco (obelisk), so it's in downtown. Also, they have free Internet access and pool tables. Check their webpage!

Sofies Place by Sonador3 No, this isn't a joke. You can actually rent a beautiful, small, cozy apartment right in the heart of Palermo Chico for about $300 per month. I stayed here, and my stay was great. My plane arrived late, but Sofia was patiently waiting at the apartment with the keys and a smile. The apartment was in tip-top shape and had everything I needed. A comfortable bed with clean linens, including bath towels, etc. Roomy sitting area, a large color TV with cable, clean bathroom and a fully functional kitchen. She also left a list of activities to do including important numbers and was always available to me to assist me during my stay and answer any questions I had, no matter how silly. She also has some kind of magic powers that allowed us to get a table right away at Des Nivel, no matter how busy they were. And her sister Coty can come through with the sweet VIP passes at the MINT nightclub. Props to you two!!! You can write to Sofia for specifics in terms of current prices and availability at sof76@vtmail.com
