Travel Tips for Buenos Aires

Manuel Tienda Leon has moved!!!!!

by cochinjew

Those of you accostumed to the prompt and courteous service of the transportation company from Ezeiza international airport to downtown, would be unhappy to know that their office, which was centrally located at plaza san martin at santa fe now has movefd past the retiro bus station at an area surrounded by concrete pavements and constant noise of large trucks. moreover they no longer offer service to the hotels so you are on your own to find a taxi.. which is not available near by , you have to walk over railway lines and pavement and wait for a taxi near the gas station...3 peso taxi from santa fe to ricoleta now is 6.. not bad still but if there are more than one person, it is better to take a taxi direct from the airport to your hotel

Appreciate the Tango and the history of the country. Great foods, great excitement, beautiful and great reverence for their ancestry. Visit Recoletta cemetery.

Also, have an ice cream - great competition between ice cream stores - all homemade and wonderful.

The most complete and biggest mall

by sabrina_florida about Unicenter shopping

This is the biggest mall in South America.
It's 25 minutes from downtown by taxi, but it's really worth visiting.
This is a three-storey mall with all the most important brands, for men, women and children.
On the 3rd floor there's a huge food court and a cinema, Hoyts Cinemas, with 14 screens.
On that same floor there's a video arcade with a small rollercoaster for little kids. You can play pool and bowling too there.
There's Falabella inside, which is a two-storey department store. Electrical appliances, clothes, shoes and bags, make-up, toys, furniture, books and CDs are some of the things you can buy here. One of our best supermarkets is here too, on the ground floor. It's called Jumbo. It's the most expensive but the most varied, so it's worth visiting.

If you like house music u gotttta go to PACHA

by Liveitup_Bailey

The night life is incredible.... TAKE ADVANTAGE ..... IT IS ALL NIGHT ALL MORNIN ALLL DAY

This is what we would do --- go to a normal top 40 club like opera house (used to be good on wed nights), then go to another bar/club then go to a salsa club and dance the night away until 6 or 7 in the morning....

House venues are another thing on their own you show up at 12 am and you will be there until 10 am and won't want to leave......

If you are going there .... LOVE IT .....ENJOY IT for the rest of us

Ask the locals for the "IT" clubs to go to
