Clan Hostel, don`t believe the pictures on website

Terrible (1.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on March 29, 2011

Way toooo noisy to get any sleep over the weekend because of the clubs right downstairs and across the street, open till 6.00 am. Bedbugs, miserable breakfast, noisy common room which I could hear very well from my room into the wee hours. Also, beware, the pictures on the webiste refer to the previous location. It has moved across the street and it is nothing like that. NOt worth the 42 dollars.

Directions: Close to Avenida 9 de Julio/

The hostel is great!! It was all expecting from this place after reading all the reviews on several guides. Despite the super helpful staff, the hostel is boiling hot, even when you pay for A/C (which is only turned on during the night). The rooms are kept immaculately clean by a very friendly maid. This hostel also has the best showers I've ever found in South America. The area of town in pretty decent and there are a lot of things to do nearby. The common area is a nice place to hang out. It was filled with college-aged people 24 hours a day, who were all ready to help you and tell you the best places to go. I felt extremely comfortable and safe here and would recommend this place to anyone.
