With a stamp of approval from slh.com (Small Luxury Hotels) - a reliable hotel website - there was no hesitation in booking our rooms at CasaSur Art Hotel. The small hotel is housed in a Belle Epoque building in the heart of Recoleta, a chic residential neighbourhood in Buenos Aires. Elegant and comfortable rooms at CasaSur Art are complemented with designer bathrooms and small amenities that make a difference. The staff is most helpful and the restaurant serves a delicious breakfast and a great wine selection for a pre-dinner drink. Its location is perfect for the first time visitor to Buenos Aires, as it is only a few blocks away from Recoleta Cemetery, and within a quick taxi ride to Palermo and Microcentro, the downtown of Buenos Aires. The price is expensive for Buenos Aires, but much cheaper than major Western cities for the same level of luxury. I would definitely recommend this hotel, if the rate is not an issue.
